Why Tasuke AI has no account and no cloud

Your to-do list is more personal than it looks. It knows who you are meeting, which doctor you are seeing, when the rent is due, and what you forgot to buy for your mother's birthday. Spoken, it is more personal still: it is your voice.

So Tasuke AI was designed to know none of it. Not "we encrypt it on our servers" — there are no servers.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has:

• no account — no email address, no password, no sign-up screen;
• no analytics and no crash reporting — we do not know how you use the app, or even that you use it;
• no ads and no attribution or tracking SDKs;
• no backend — there is no database anywhere with a row for you.

Your audio is streamed into the speech model on your phone and discarded as it is processed; no audio file is ever written. Your transcripts and tasks are stored in the app's private storage on your phone.

What that means in practice

There is nothing to delete on our side. To remove your data, use Settings → Delete all data, or uninstall the app.

There is nothing for us to lose. A company that holds no user data cannot have it breached, subpoenaed or sold.

Purchases stay with Apple and Google. Tasuke Pro is billed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your name, your card or your billing address; the app only asks the store whether a subscription is active.

The honest downsides

Having no cloud has real costs, and you should know them before you rely on the app:

• No sync between devices. Your tasks live on one phone.
• No recovery from us. If you lose your phone without a backup, we cannot restore your tasks, because we never had them. Your phone's own encrypted backup (iCloud or Google) includes the app's data if you have it switched on — that is the only way back.
• We can't see your problem. If something goes wrong, support can only work from what you tell us.

We think those trade-offs are worth it for a list this personal. If they are not right for you, it is better to know now.
